The Lakeside Bistro is ideally located, in that this bright and relaxing lounge offers large windows all along one side of the room looking out onto the hotel lawn, the ruins of the 12th Century McCarthy Mór Castle and, of course, the lakes and mountains beyond. With the warming golden sunlight pouring in throughout the day and evening, this is the perfect spot from which to admire the setting in front of your eyes.
The Lakeside Bistro is popular for morning coffee and scones, leisurely lunches, our classic Afternoon Tea in the afternoon and casual tasty bar food throughout the early evening. The great, local, fresh produce prepared by our Chefs combined with friendly and helpful staff ensure that guests come back again and again to enjoy this restful and inviting space.
The Bistro also offers a tasty Vegetarian / Vegan menu with daily specials, and free WiFi means if you have to look away from the beautiful view, it is at least easy to do any work that has to be done. Also available to make your visit more enjoyable is a great Kids coloring set, just ask your server.
The Lakeside Bistro opens at 10 am daily and serves food from 12 pm to 9.30pm. Special dietary requirements are catered for as much as possible, advance notice is helpful. Drinks and food are served outside on our terrace in specific areas, weather permitting.
